World Wide Views on Biodiversity

Thank you for applying to be part of World Wide Views on Biodiversity, a globlal citizen consultation on biodiversity. The Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado, is the local host for this event. To learn more about the global program, see www.biodiversity.wwviews.org.

We will be choosing 100 participants from thousands of applicants based on a number of factors. In an effort to ensure maximum diversity and representation among our participant group, we will consider:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Race/Ethnicity
  • Income
  • Education Level
  • Occupation
  • Geographical Zone

Criteria and categories are adapted from statistics from the 2010 census data (http://Factfinder.census.gov/).

Since we will be selecting participants on the basis of these criteria, answering questions about them is a necessary requirement for applying to be part of the WWViews program. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

Please complete the following survey with the information requested, and your application will be considered on the basis of the criteria described above. Please remember that your application does not guarantee participation; we will notify you by late August as to whether you have been confirmed to participate in WWViews.

For questions or a hardcopy of the application, please email worldwideviewsbiodiversity@gmail.com or call 303.384.2335.
