GETTING STARTED WITH...
Sometimes the toughest step to take is the first one. If you're having trouble getting started with a Mines computing resource, or if you'd like to know more about a particular concept (like RSS, email, or personal home pages), visit CCIT's Getting Started page.
CCIT FAQ DATABASE
Use the CCIT FAQfinder search tool to find answers to frequently asked questions about campus computing.
GUIDES & REFERENCE
The CCIT Guides & References page includes documentation on a wide range of topics. Example topics are: setting up your POP mail client, configuring a dialup connection with Mines modems. In addition, quick reference guides and handouts are available at the Computing Center Front Desk (CT156A).
MINES HELP CENTER
Open a support-request ticket at Mines Help Center, http://helpdesk.mines.edu, for aid with a wide variety of technology issues. This is the preferred way to request computing help on campus.
CLIENT AND WEB SERVICES
CWS is an umbrella group within CCIT that provides computing support services to academic and administrative departments across campus. Various teams within CWS provide support and services for desktop and workstation computers, teaching labs, web services, and Mines Help Center. For more information, visit the Client and Web Services page, or submit a Mines Help Center support request.
VISIT OR CALL CCIT
Visit the Campus Computing Front Desk (CT156A) or call at (303) 273-3431. Support staff and student consultants are available to assist with computing-related issues. CCIT is a full-service facility during the normal working hours of 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Beyond these hours, limited services are available.
IN A CLASSROOM EMERGENCY...
In the event of a computing problem affecting a class currently in session only, please dial extension 2345 (303-384-2345) for fastest service.
